Ipe red or purpura (Tabebuia gemmiflora) is a medium-sized slender tree common in the transitional area between the cerrado and caatinga biomes northeast of MG, and in southern Bahia, but non-existent in other regions of the country.

Ipe vermelho ou purp𠯿ia � uma 嫫vore esguia, de pequeno a m嶮io porte, bastante comum na regi緌 do Vale do Jequitinhonha, nordeste de MG, e no sul da Bahia, por幦 inexistente em outras regi髊s do pa疄. Foi introduzida no paisagismo por Roberto Burle Marx, mas muito raramente encontrada em viveiros. Germina誽o f塶il por sementes, desenvolvimento muito lento fora de seu habitat. Resiste bem a s璚a e queimadas. 臆vore rara e muito adequada para o paisagismo e jardinagem.

The tree is fantastic and it is well placed in the photo. I like the view of the hill to the left and the town to the right. The clouds are very nice too, so it's a fine photo in every part.

The colour of this tree is so beautiful and even more so thanks to the bright sunlight. Also the big clouds in the blue sky make a nice backdrop and also the town at right is well included.

A very beautiful tree indeed.
Its red flowers sparkle beautifully against the background of a blue sky with white clouds.
