Hello Lucas,
This is an exotic view for most of us. It's interesting to see a man at the door and someone else in a window, plants in pots on the veranda and laundry drying on the sunny side. Ordinary life in a place that is not so ordinary to me. The photo is very sharp and well taken and something out of the ordinary on this site.

You show a remarkable floating way of living which is preferred by the locals for the convenience of being moved somewhere else in case of disagreement with the neighbors!
Very instructive intrusion in the live of valiant people who seen quite good-hearted, since two of them appear in the openings located at each end of the house.

I life in a rural area without mountain or forests, a wonderful image.

I bought a new built house few years ago and I constantly complain about the low quality of costruction. I suppose looking the this typical house for this area, I start to appreciate my house a bit better.

By reading your note, you mentioned constant flooding.
This typical boat house, keep 'floating' around with the flood in the river.
This boat house, definitely has a wonderful view of the surrounding river. It's also like a 'swimming pool' right at the door step.
Very well captured Amazonian environment in daily life scene and good use of the local wood ( definitely no shortage of it ).

Hello Lucas,

I am pleased that you gave us a useful description, for my immediate impression was one of a photograph showing a house being flooded. In fact, this floating house, does just the opposite, it rises and falls with the height of the river, to prevent it being flooded!
It's a fine, sharp exposure, well composed and added detail of a reflection.

Muy interesante construccion de esta casa de madera, realizada supongo por la familia que la habita, los materiales los tienen en abundancia, pero hay que tener habilidad para realizarlo, asi anclada a la orilla del rio se ve muy bien.
Estupendo color, muy bien gestionada tanto la luminosidad como la nitidez.

The picture is taken already years ago. But I heard that this part of your country has been hit extremely hard by the corona virus.
Built on stilts in the river, the long house is located very close to the tropical forest.
Nice with the young guy sitting in the window on the left.

This photo interested me, because I had the opportunity to visit similar houses on stilts in Panama.
The picture shows the difficult life of the inhabitants who have to meet the threats that await them.
