CONTRASTS OF WINTER, a photo from Parana, South

Photographer's Note

This region of my municipality was very damaged by the series of frosts in this last winter. Here we can see a pasture completely burnt by the frost, you even can see a hint of green here and there. At same time the rancher planted a strip of oat in the middle of the pasture while in the lower part of the compo we have a young wheat plantation and we have the wild trees in the higher lands.
Pay attention in the inferior left corner of the compo and you will see a banana tree completely killed by the ice.

Essa regi緌 do nosso munic甑io foi muito danificada pela s廨ie de geadas desse 萖timo inverno. Vemos aqui uma pastagem completamente morta pelo gelo. No meio da pastagem havia uma planta誽o de aveia para ser dada ao gado e acima a mata nativa. Na parte inferior da foto vemos uma planta誽o de trigo jovem. Reparem numa bananeira, pr闛ima do barrac緌, ela estava completamente morta.

Hello Jorge,
Despite the damage to crops shown here, the view as such is quite nice with the alternative green and brown areas. The cows in the lower area and the horse further up the hill are nicely included. I would have preferred the white building cropped, but then we wouldn't have seen the destroyed banana tree.

The presence of the cowws is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the fields. There is a good contrast between the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Me gusta el contraste de los colores en estas laderas cultivables y arboladas, el joven trigo verde contrasta con el seco de la anterior estacion, mientras el oscuro verde de los arboles a鎙de otro color, el ganado rebusca algo que comer.
Una foto magn璗ica, con colores naturales, buena luz y una excelente nitidez.

It seems you are very well orientated in the fate of every tree in your area. Very interesting story to read. I can see the banana trees indeed.
Quite a dramatic situation with the frost killing the agriculture.
