Photographer's Note
Here we have two true fishermen working their net and three sculptured fishermen inside the waters of Armação de Buzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The sculptured fishermen looks like real even when we see them from the "Orla Bardot", the sidewalk by the beach "Praia da Armação". This place is called "Orla Bardot" in honor to Briggitte Bardot, the actress who loves this place and had used to be there many times around the early 60´s. Of course that the sculptured fishemen were made in honor to the local fishermen, always working their nets to catch some fish to sell at the village. If you are planning to travel to Rio de Janeiro, think about a short visit to Buzios. You´ll like it. Regards from sunny Brazil!!!

Hi Jose - I was sure you had a shot of fishermen in your gallery - and I was right! Your shot is daily life (you are right in your note when you emphasized "true" fishermen), in a paradisiacal setting, and very colorful. I thought that Buzios was one of those resorts, I'm glad there's so interesting "real life" there too! Regards, Daniel
