Photographer's Note

The animal markets in Otavalo start very early in the morning (saturday). There is one for big animals like pigs and one for small animals like chicken. It's really fantastic. It's very busy and indigenas people from all over de region come to sell or buy animals.I could have stayed there for hours. But they don't like you to make pictures. So that felt not very comfortable.

Well this is just one of those wonderful faces so full of character that just cries out to be photographed.It is well exposed and nice and sharp but I would have cropped tight to the top of her hat to avoid most of the background

Lovely image. What you might call a lived in face. Exposure and composition are really good. The tight crop works well. A shallower depth of field would have thrown the figures in the background further out of focus.

Bonjour Els,
Joli portrait,l'exposition est bonne,et l'image est nette,cependant je me suis permis de modifier un peu cette photo,car je trouve qu'il aurait 彋� pr嶨廨able de cadrer horizontalement.
Comme il aurait 彋� dommage de couper la partie inf廨ieure de l'image,j'ai donc un peu trich� pour rallonger le c矌� droit de celle ci.Et j'en ai profit� pour supprimer les deux personnages en second plan.....histoire de s'amuser.
J'esp鋨e que tu aimeras.

Els, this is a well captured moment considering that they dont like to be photographed, good pov & dof, only the red bit above her head is a bit distracting.. tfs
