Photographer's Note
The terraced slope of the mountains in Macchu Picchu are so steep, but the Peruvian Incas used it for planting. The stone retaining walls shown here are about 5 feet high. They have regular stairs to go up and down the terraced slopes.

a huge work of men's hands, well shown, framing, angle, but judging by the sky and BG, surely hard light to manage

A beautiful picture with an interesting composition. The contrast between the manmade "cliffs" and the natural ones has been captured quite well. You've also dealt well with the difficult lighting conditions, after all part is in the sunshine, part is in the shade.

Great shot! I like the sense of verticality in this, really showing how steep the slope is, and how high the mountains are. This is noe of the more remarkable farms in history. Well done!

i like the vertical presentation making the views well seen, especially the man-made slopes and the natural valleys/hills on the BG. on the other hand, natapagtataka na agricultural mountain ito dahil sa isang tingin pa lamang ay mga bato ang unang makikita. i wonder if it also has (natural) irrigation like our very own, the banaue terraces, just curious.
TFS,
Benedict
