Photographer's Note
This is the Caura River which is located in the state of Bolivar - central Venezuela. We were on our way to an indigenous village further down stream and stopped for the night at this wonderful camp.
You can see the rocks in the water because this is dry season and therefore the water is shallow. The surroundings are pristine rainforest - similar to what you find deep in the Amazon region.
