La piscina, a photo from Dependencias Federales, East

Photographer's Note

Although these are some small islands without trees, I know I could have improved the composition by including more sky to not cut part of the clouds. I like the curvy line of the shore and simply wanted to include another picture of this amazing Venezuelan archipel. This specific part, is called "la piscina" (the swimming pool), because the waters are calm and clear and pretty shallow.

I took this shot with my old 1.6 Mpixel Sony Cybershot. I post-ptocessed it quite some time ago. I recal increasing contrast and adding the frame

sicuramente l'inclusione del cielo avrebbe dato ancora pi� forza alla tua bellissima immagine, ma sicuramente avrai scattato con la focale pi� ampia, magari il resto lo vedremo col prossimo post :-))
Malgrado l'assenza di alberi il paesaggio marino � molto bello, i colori del mare sono fantastici, ed in effetti la sua trasparenza giustifica il nome "piscina".
I colori sono meravigliosi, molto bella la curva creata dalla spiaggia.

Wonderful landscape composition , you should left it as posted ( as you noted), good contrast on sky over the sea-shore.

hello Yvonne,

the quality is surprisingly good, given the camera. and I know what you mean by improving the composition and including more sky, I think it would definitely enhance the feeling of calm and of wide open space. but those are minor issues, I like the photo as is, the smooth curve of the beach works very well to lead the eye towards the trees on the horizon. nice :)
