Photographer's Note
As my favorite player just won Wimbledon, I decided to post a tennis shot. This comes from an exhibition match played between Martina Hingis (about to hit a forehand on the picture) and Ashley Harkleroad, which was played in the courts of the Venezuelan Tennis Federation on April 28, 2012. After this match, there was an Agassi-Courier match which I unfortunately could not attend. These four players, along with others such as Goran Ivanisevic, Patrick Rafter, and Steffi Graf, just to name some, travel around the world and bring tennis matches to countries where usually no high level matches are organized.
The players were supposed to play 2 sets and a deciding 10 point tie break, but decided to play a full third set to please the public. Hingis won 4-6 6-1 7-6.
I made this shot in the third set, when it was already dark, so it is not perfectly sharp, but I like that I was able to catch Hingis just before she hit the ball. I just resized it to match TE size policies.

Hello Yvonne,
This is a wonderful shot of Martina Hingis (initially I thought it was just a photo of a tennis player in action with Martina Navratilova as the metaphor). However, Martina Hingis, whom I haven't seen in years appears to have lost a lot of weight. Thanks for the excellent note.
Yvonne, I am writing a note to your email address separately.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi yvonne
there is a lot of noise, but I don't care. Good framing and decisive moment taken with the flying (double!)ball!
