Photographer's Note
it was windy, it was freezing, i was as sick as a dog but i still made the climb. having come over to see me friend before he went away to do his own trekking, we decided to go to beong eun sa, just outside coex shopping complex in seoul. with tripod on back and camera in hand, we clambered up the back of the temple to where this 20-metre high statue overlooks some of seoul's cbd. perched in the frozen undergrowth, sitting on my small tripod bag, we set up. this was one of the better shots to come... apart from the one with the sparkle filter that i might include in the workshop.... hooray for frozen fingers!

Hello Craig,
The composition is very good. The figure from behind of a Buddhist statue look great against the wonderful views of city lights. I think it's excellent.
Grertings.

Hi Craig,
very original composition. The inclusion of the statue puts the photo in another dimension. I appreciate such nice ideas like that. Good exposure and wb. Well done!

Carlos

this looks familiar!! :) it was fun sitting with you when this shot was made.
more contrast would help here, but overall, it's a good composition. at first i didn't like the tree in the top of the frame, but it's starting to appeal to me. i like the way it seems to be reaching out to the buddha.
