- Ice #1 -, a photo from Oppland, South

Photographer's Note

Another weekend at our Cabin in Glenna! Great place for relaxation.
Last time (two weeks ago) it was foggy and made conditions for the landscape-shots in my last uploads... This time it was nothing special at all, but the ice created down from the roof of the cabin interested me today, so this is the result of half hour work and frozen fingers... ;)
Ice, snow, fog, darkness facinates me, so I guess I will be chilling you this winter!

Perhaps it would have been even better with a landscape in the background. But I like it.

I like the detail of orange colour inside the ice. Looks like fire. Good contrast. Simple composition in use to accent the image in this cold note.

Very nice image. Does the gold that one can see in the ice come from the reflection of the flashlight?

Hi Terje, I meant to write something about this one long ago, but time is just running through my hands. And I had to look something up. I love the grace in the ice and the light onit is very nice
It reminded me strongly of a ballet that I once saw, and really impreesed me. It was on the beautiful (IMO), music of the Brmandenburgs concertos of Bach, and the dancers were all changed into big, fat people. I could not find the tilte then anymore, but by coincendence it was on the tv this week. It's called 'Groosland', it's a ballet by Maguy Marin and you can find a picture here
