Photographer's Note
A Norwegian cemetary in the autumn! It's early dark these days, and many people light candles on their beloved graves. As you walk inside you meet hundreds of lights that flicker wounerable in the harsh november weather...
Tech; developing a technique, part from this it's adjusted by channelmixer, levels, tiny bit of noise and sharpening.

I like this enigmatic atmosphere resulting from the fog and the lights.
Excellent composition with the majestuous trees, surveying this calm place.
The sepia is well seen here.
Sad but great image, congratulations Terje !

By reducing the noise you would have taken away the mood created here. This gives a vintage and an erie effect. Well done on the sepia.

Hello fogmaster! I think you managed the feeling of Scandinavian All Saints Day here. The darkness, the dampness and the mysterious lights on our graveyards. I like the "low horizon" and the "big open sky" in this. I just would like to make a perspective correction to straighten the trees.

I like this shot. It is very emotional and your technique in post-processing enhances the photo to create a mood.

I would be curious to see the original before you made the adjustments.
I just love photos like these because so often they have an atmosphere all of their own.
This to me is a really wonderful shot.. I really love it. Well done.

this is a very good photograph terje
i love the noise here
the atmosphere is really good here. it has that really cold feeling to it. although the sepia tone here adds a warm feeling to the candles.. i wonder what a simple black and white tone would do to the atmosphere here. i guess the warmth of the candles will be lost , but there will be more mystery in the fog..
anyway i like this photograph as it is
take care :)
