Ahhh... !!!
Went out today for a walk. We have amazing weather these days in parts of Norway. 500 km up north (Oppdal), where my parents live, there are now 2 meters of snow. And this is in the middle of November!!!
Here outside Oslo there have been -10 for the last 2 days, wich resulted in this image today. The snow are very dry and almost like ice, and I got the feeling of easter. Last night it was like christmas; snow in the trees, everywhere, lights everywhere because of the early darkness!
Oh boy didn't I wait for this...

Almost no PP; tiny levels and sharping.

Hi Terje,
2 meters of snow!!! This is an impossible DREAM for me... not here, not near Venice!
Very original shot, and a beautiful sharp light: is only from the sun ? Is a fantastic macro, a white flower in a blue world.
I like it a lot, thanks also for the note.

I like the simple but beautiful composition in this shot. The highlighted frozen straw looks so fragile apart the dark snow mass. It looks like ice flower or magic wand and I can feel stillness and chill around. Very well seen.

Great picture!! I also do look foward to winter to play with this kind of ice photos. You perfectly managed not only to see that great ice flower but also to capture it with great light effect. Great blue colors and nothing to add to your lovely composition. L.

Hey Terje, I think you got the essential of frost here, the crystals have a very beautiful shape, and the light on it, is simply great. The flakes on the ground have that same shape, but are in the dark. I think it's a simple and beautiful shot.
