Shot of undress Petersburg.
Obvodny channel - the largest channel in St. Petersburg. Stems from the Neva River in the vicinity of the Alexander Nevsky Monastery and reaches the river Ekateringofki. The original canal was dug as a defensive site in 1769-1780 by engineer L. Carbone. The channel length of 8.1 km, width - 21,3 m (in the eastern part - up to 42,6 m), depth - up to 3 m.
Church of the Resurrection at the Warsaw station was built by architect Grim in 1906.

Hi Vitaly,
I really really love your photos of St. Petersburg and the surrounding suburbs! You manage to capture the spirit of the city and the mood of the day very well.
In this respect, it is a VERY successful idea (in my opinion) to take a photo from this point of view - with such perspective which includes the industrial pipe in the distance - as a curious opposition (or juxtaposition) to the church!...
The long diagonal lines naturally lead the look towards the distance, little by little. IMHO, this is one of the best photos of the city I've seen :)
