Photographer's Note
This shot was taken at the shore Acres State Park. Not driftwood but seems like a tree that had a bad "Wind accident". What's impressive is the huge root system, which is several times the size of a human (take the fence as a perspective measure).
Also interesting to see that some of the roots are still attached to the ground.

Very impressive sight, Efi - the root system brings a great graphical quality to your photo as it reaches into whichever direction inside the frame. The natural colors are pretty in this one, and the sharpness is excellent. A human being in the shot might be nice for illustrating the scale, but the handrails at the left give us a sufficient idea ;-) Well done.

Looks like a paradise for kids to climb around (including me ;-) ). I like this photo. You took this scene from an interesting angle with the nice colorful background. The roots are visible in great detail. Thanks Efi.

Hi Efi,
these roots give a strong and spectacular graphism to the photo, this being accentuated by the color contrast between them and the darker surroundings, very nice !
