Photographer's Note

I had scanned this image from my old photograph. It was taken in 1996 during my trip to Chamonix/France. I was hiking on the mountain Le Brevent 2525m and from a trail there I took a shot. It is a view over Mont Blance 4807m. The photo was taken with a film camera.

Nice mountain compo with superb colors in the foreground vegetation and nice hazy and snowy peaks in the background. It is a bit overexposed on the snow but no big deal, still a nice view!

Fine flowers in fg and fine mountains in bg. The landscape with it's vibrant colours is so charming even if the sharpness is not at top. But the atmosphere is what counts most.

very nice image, the contrast between the glaciers and the greenish areas is fabulous. nice detail of these flowers in the foreground, good pov, framing and light. even the haze created by scan don't spoils the beauty of this photo
