Photographer's Note
The view over Sorrento's Marina Piccola toward Mt Vesuvius on the other side of the Bay of Naples. A cloud hangs over the volcano, like a reminder of the ash clouds that sometimes blast out from the mountain. In the foreground are colorful bathing boxes and reclining chairs for achieving that all over sunburn that so many tourists get, while a sailing ship adds to the atmosphere. The sea cliffs of Sorrento have many lookouts and vantage points giving views like this.

Hi Vincent
A fabulous shot with a perfect bit of cloud above Vesuvius. The only pity is the appalling Club Med yacht which takes a little of the edge off it.
cheers

Hi Vince, my favourite place in the world you have captured so well. I was standing in this exact position 2 months after you did and stuffed it up grandly. Your photo is excellent, despite the constant haze that hangs around the Giant. I like the graphism of the umbrellas and those rich Mediterranean colours. Nice job, TFS, Lisa
