Photographer's Note
I took this looking out a window which is over the stairs in our house. It is rare that an iceberg comes into the Clyde River Inlet, so when it happened this year it caused great excitement in the town. Unfortunately, it broke down eventually and disappeared. I cropped this slightly on the bottom.

Interesting picture.
But did you open the window or run outside to take another picture? I could see from the window the beautiful landscape, the achored boats and the iceberg which all together will make for some dramatic and fantastic compositions for superb photographs!

I find this picture to have an almost surreal quality to it as the iceberg looks so out of place with no other snow or ice in sight! Beautifully clear shot and excellent composition with the window view.

Very well seen. I like the natural frame with our window, great and original presentation. Nice light on the iceberg and plaisant colours ... and i understand the excitement of your village, what a spectacular landscape !

Vera, I love your arctic photographs. The perspective through the window makes this shot quite distinctive, and the shape and lighting of the iceberg is spectacular. Thank you for sharing the wonderful place you live in.
