Photographer's Note

another oldie for you today...

---

This picture was shot in Ho Chi Minh City.

A decent lunch break is a must
and a good afternoon nap does wonders.

Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnamese: Th跣h phố Hồ Ch Minh) is the largest city in Vietnam.

Under the name Saigon (Vietnamese: S跬 G犥), it was the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina and later of the independent state of South Vietnam.

After the American War Saigon merged with the surrounding Gia Định Province and was officially renamed Hồ Ch Minh City after Hồ Ch Minh, but the name S跬 G犥 is still commonly used.

The metropolitan area is populated by more than 9 million people, making it the most populous metropolitan area in Vietnam.
