Photographer's Note
Now the travelogue four fat old ladies in Vietnam.
After Burma hanoi seemed to us not so exotic, modern and noisy. The pubs with karaoke are everywhere. We stayed in the hotel in old city. I expected it would be cozy quiet atmosphere. I was totally wrong. The big Hanoi population is estimated as 6,5 milions and everyone has a motobike. I felt quite loss. I stood on one side amazed that there were no traffic rules and couldn't go to the other side seeing all these bikes coming at me.
In lunch time the people sit like this, on the low plastic chairs. The food is cheap and good. In the Vietnamese repertoire, beef pho noodle soup is a classic. In fact, it's practically the national dish of Vietnam. Other popular meal that I like very much are spring rolls. In Warsaw we have many Vietnamese bars and they are called in Polish "sajgonki". So we had usually pho and sajgonki.

Hi Malgo
we really get the sense of the busy nature of the culture because everything is so jam-packed into your scene.
it also feels like everybody is in a hurry to eat quickly.

Hello Malgorzata,
A quite fascinating composition of these people packed together all concentrating on eating. The close framing works very well. The image has good colours and sharpness. A very compelling daily life capture.

Hi Malgorzata,
A great pic of the street life, one of the best recent street shots I have seen here, whata great scene. The best places to eat are on the street often, the atmosphere, the humidity, the plastci chairs. I love the expressions of everyone.
Colour works well, but the colours feel a little saturated, I reckon B&W could look interesting too (I did a workshop for fun:)
Cheers

Bonjour Malgorzata
Hum! cela semble d幨icieux. Inconfortable, mais d幨icieux. Mais cela se fera tellement rapidement que ce n'est pas grave car la conversation est passionnante.
Amicalement

Hi Malgo,
These people really seem to be "tucking" into their food with gusto! They look as though they haven't seen food for weeks.
A lovely colourful picture with lots of activity. Great colours, lots of detail and excellent sharpness. An interesting note too - good to know you can get something good to eat cheaply in Vietnam.
Lovely!
Kind Regards,
John.
