Photographer's Note

A slightly wider view than the previous shot and taken later with a longer exposure which was guestimated using a stopwatch and from memorty it was over a minute long so there is some burnout from the lights from the Neon mess that is Time Square in the bottom right. Which one do people prefer?

Hello Matthew,

So you managed to seduce the officials here again to allow you to set up your tripod for this shot too! Well done.

I like this shot but, to answer you question, I do on balance think I prefer your previous one. The burn out at bottom right is, as you say, a little disconcerting whereas you avoided that in your earlier picture.

Nonetheless, this is a fine picture with amazing detail and sharpness and perfect exposure. The sky too is absolutely wonderful.
