Photographer's Note
'Gomateshwara' (Lord Bahubali) is a 42 foot tall single stone statue built in 1432 AD by King Veera Pandya at Karkala city in the state of Karnataka, India. This is a one of the most important pilgrim centers for Jains as Karkala was under Jain rule for 300 years. Jains perform a grand religious bathing ceremony of this marvelous statue called 'Mahamastakabhisheka' every 14 years.
Just thought of clicking this gold miniature of the actual statue keeping the actual statue in the backdrop as it was looking great.
