I think that old fashioned places like this are slowly disappearing and being replaced by the large fast food chains.
I liked the old fashioned feel of this place, and I am sure the burgers are pretty good too :-)

First of all, thanks for your critique of my photo...its much appreciated.

I just HAD to check this one out too. What a beauty eh? lol truly Canadian :)

even though the Cadillac in the fg isn't a classic old car, it seems to fit the overall feel of the scene perfectly.

and the choice to go monochrome was superb, I wonder how it looked in color...but i'm glad you posted this one as the atmosphere comes through well.

Well composed and well converted to b n w the tones are just perfect. Very crisp sharp shot.

I previously noticed this shot but with no time to comment before.
I like the diagonale balanced composition from the car, the front of fast-food then the panel.
Good idea the B&W management to increase the graphic impact of the adds with full white sections in a grey world. It is giving an easy reading of the view and in same time a good contrast level.

I also like "vintage" places like this one. I think your choice of B&W strenghthens this aspect of old fashion.
