Photographer's Note

This is the Bohol Beach Club in Panglao Island, Bohol. This beach has a vast expanse of powdery white sand and shallow beach water. A very idyllic resort like a paradise where you would love to stay when you retire and do what Jim Gaffigan says, 弌 hammock is like a giant net for catching lazy people�....well, after years of hard work.

Hello Michelle
Good quality for a scanned print. Or did you scan the original negative? It pays to do so if you have access to a neg/slide scanner, as the 1st generation output from the camera is always better (sharper, less chance of dust and scratches) than any copy. But this is fine. And you're right: now I've retired, this is the sort of place I'd love to spend some time. Instead I go sailing...

Ho dear Mics

Ahh this has such a great feeling of tranquillity. I could easily picture myself in one of these hammocks with a good book and sipping a cocktail. I like the play of light and shadow, the colours and sharpness are excellent, particularly considering this is a 10 year old scan.
