Royal Palace of Naples
The palace was built in the seventeenth century as the viceregal palace, the project was given by the then Viceroy, Fernando Ruiz de Castro, Count of Lemos, the architect Domenico Fontana, who inspired her design project in late Renaissance, already tested in Rome, in its activities to Sixtus V.
It was one of the four residences used by the Royal House of Bourbon of Naples during the Two Sicilies.
