Photographer's Note
After we visited the School of Aeronautics, our parental obligations ended and we were free to play tourist for the rest of the weekend. For dinner we headed to The Depot Grille at Lynchburg’s historic riverfront.
As its name suggests, The Depot Grille is a converted vintage rail depot. Its kitchen is comprised of two Georgia Northern Railroad freight cars which were fully functional until their transformation. After being lifted by cranes from the railroad tracks to the back of the building, they were converted to The Depot Grille’s kitchen. The booths in the dining area are actually church pews from Grace Evangelical and Congregational Church in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The back bar is from a pharmacy in Edinburg, Virginia. According to a local legend, a stray bullet shattered the original mirror during an attempted bank robbery by none other than Frank and Jesse James who decided to rob the bank next door to the pharmacy on their way back to Missouri after the Civil War.
This photo was taken going into the restaurant. In the workshop, I have uploaded a similar photo coming out of the restaurant. I like the light in the WS photo better but the camera shake made it less than ideal to upload as the main image.

Hi Murat
Heard from an expat friend that a lot of the language schools in Turkey are closing because no-one has any money thanks to the rigorous hawk-like Erdogan. He really is killing the goose that laid the golden eggs. Anyway enough of that. I like the angled pov and the the brick building contrasts well against the blue sky. Good sharpness and well framed and composed. Tfs!

Hello Murat,
Excellent choice of POV to include the rails in the FG of the scene, adds much depth and suggest all about this place.
The old Depot looks as well kept with its original design.
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Murat,
Indeed, the second picture is not your best, but your main picture is nice presented.
Old architecture but always the most beautiful, maybe through my education architecture.
Very sharp and clear.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend
John.

Hello Murat,
Nice capture of this old brick building, seen here in such a fine lighting which rendered the colours appealing and bright. The blue sky makes a good backdrop too. I also like how you included just a bit of the old railroad tracks in the foreground.

nice view of this beautiful brick pavilion. I liked the inclusion of the rails in FG adding more details and giving us an idea of the usage of the area.
