Photographer's Note

The De Clercqstraat is one of the many typically Amsterdam-style streets in the areas around the city center. Two lanes of asphalt for the cars, tracks and stops for the trams in between, asphalt bicycle paths on each side, a sidewalk paved with stone tiles, and three or four floor brick buildings from around 1890-1930 with shops, grocery stores, bars and restaurants on the street level floor.
