Squirrel with an Acorn, a photo from Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen, East

A small detour before I return to Bolzano. Sunday we took a walk in Miskolc-Tapolca, the resort area of Miskolc. The park is a squirrel paradise: there is an unlimited number of acorn and the tourist as well serve as a food source. Some squirrels can even be feed from the hand. In the WS you can see two other shots.

Hello Gy顤gy,
It is very cute, and even though it's almost tame - or at least not very shy - nobody could claim it's a pet. When I was a child in the countryside we had many squirrels around the house, occasionally eating from our hands and sometimes even coming inside, being served nuts on our kitchen table. But they look their best like this, in the nature with matching and nicely contrasting colours. Nice photos in the WS too.
Didn't you see any hedgehogs? They are also very cute. ;-)

Such a lovely photo of this small squirrel, sitting on the forest ground eating a nut from its hands. It looks so cute and you captured it so well and with super sharpness. Great work.

This was a surprise; quite an aside from the flea market!

Your photographs of the squirrels are delightful!
The details are sharp and you have been able to show different aspects of their character.

We have a grey squirrel which has begun visiting our garden but we have only spotted it on the night camera we have!

A wonderful side portrait of this squirrel with acorn. Light and focus are spot on. Those little green leaves create a nice base for the squirrel.

Happy we see a european squirrel, here in Flanders are much big squirrels but of american origin, through people released, and fight againt the small squirrels

My preference goes to the curious version in the WS although we get a very clear and close view in your main picture.
