Photographer's Note
St James's Park, the first of The Royal Parks to be opened to the public, provides habitats for a variety of different species. A short walk away from three palaces (St James's, Westminster and Buckingham Palaces) and in the heart of historical London, the park welcomes over 16.9 million visitors every year and is one of the most visited parks in Europe. This heavy use inevitably has an impact on the wildlife in the area, yet it can be surprising to some how much can live and grow alongside humans.
One of the key habitats in St James's Park is the lake. It is home to a wide range of bird life (including 15 different species of waterfowl) and has nesting sites on Duck Island and West Island.

I have seen many different birds in St. James and other London Park. The cutest were the goslings.
It is probably Canada or Graylag goose.
Workshop #1 - Mother Goose with Kids
Workshop #2 - less obvious bird.
The park is famous for pelicans, but I haven't seen any.

Hello Malgo,
This little fluffy gosling is incredibly cute, and the flowers surrounding it is like a Swedish Midsummer garland. The entire family in the WS is also very nice. It's not your own hand in the other WS, is it? Going to the park was obviously a nice change to the usual museums.
Have a nice and safe journey.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Malgo,
The tight frame is putting the gosling in evidence. The point of view is showing the details of the gosling. The light is giving nice tints to the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hi Malgo
A charming image. The daisies give it an almost fairy tale feel.

Ciao Malgo,it is nice to see that in the park the geese reproduce the same despite the disturbance of the people, unlike the swans in the park of my village who had made the nest but after 3 days they had already given up, nice capture of the child and the family and also of the very friendly green parrot. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Fajna kolekcja londynskich ptakow. Najbardziej egzotyczne sa te zielone papugi, kiedys te londynskie pokazywala Kasia.
Nie pokazesz rosyjskich tankow ze stolicy?
pozdrawiam

Hello Malgo,
I had to jump to this photo because one of the WS photos I uploaded today has goslings. But your gosling is younger and cuter.

Good morning Malgo,
A close up with fine details of the chick feathers, contrast with the green grass at the park - all well shown here.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hi Malgo
3 good photos of the bird life of the park with a very cute main one. I know that there are colonies of Australian parrots in London but not this one - more likely from India or there abouts.
cheers

Hello Malgo,
Such a lovely photo of this young goose in the grass and surrounded by all those small flowers as well. The sharpness is great, its tiny feathers are very clear here.

Hi Malgo
I like the repetition of the daisies, the textured down, superb lighting and good sharpness on the gosling. Well framed and composed. Tfs!
