Photographer's Note
During the 2004 24th annual San Francisco Fleet Week the much loved Blue Angels were unable to put on an airshow because of a scheduling conflict. This was the first Fleet Week they didn't perform at since their first show in 1981.
Taking their place was the Canadian Snowbirds. This Canadian precision flying team fly nine CT-144 Tutors. Originally designed as trainers, the nine CT-144 Tutors are not nearly as impressive as the six F-18 Hornets flown by the Blue Angels which exhibit awe inspiring speed and power.
Although, while they don't have the power, speed, and glamor of the Blue Angels the additional three planes and the skill of these Canadian pilots allow for complex and very entertaining displays.
More information about the Snowbirds can be found on the Snowbird's Website.

Perhaps not as impressive as the F-18s, but these are beautiful aircraft and well captured as well. TFS.

Great shot, you were lucky with the bright blue sky. The aircraft look very clear and the clouds balance the shot nicely.

Very nice composition and sharp picture.
The formation of those planes were really good. From the thumbnail, at first I thought those are real birds. 8-)
