Mt Kinabalu, a photo from Sabah, East

Photographer's Note

I took this photograph on my way to the top of Mt Kinabalu. The mountain is located in Malaysia, Borneo in the state of Sabah and its height has been given as 4095 m (13,450 ft). As I saw the path, trees, and the fog I just had to take a picture. I did not emagine that it would turn out this great though.
I haven't done any post-editing at all, the colors came out as you see them.

It does have a kind of unearthly quality to it. Nicely composed and good DOF.

Hi Peter,

Really amazing image. I like the atmosphere of mistery creatd by the light and mist. It seems a kind of image from a fairy tale, we espect at any minute a strange creature such a fairy, gnoms or unicorn pops out! The composition and perspective are really good. The image is a little small, but it's normal to have some problems with TE small limits at the beggining.

Wow! It is unbelievable! When I saw this thumbnail, I thought this is a painting. This is like the cut-in illustration of the fantasy novel. What a beautiful, mysterious place.....great work. Thank you for sharing.

This is a very unique shot indeed. Maybe it's the Fog but you have made the place look surreal and eary. Good job. It looks real good.

Yep, a very impressive picture with a incredible forest. Looks like a movie stage. I am amazed by the circonvolutions of the branches. The ghostly like light in the background is also very impressive. That's a great shot to me.
