I continue with my small serie in PARIS. This was taken from the Eiffel Tower. I liked the contrast between the modern and the old. La D嶨ense seems crush the old Paris.

I changed the title in "David and Goliath", it fits better.

I agree... You capture an interesting contrast here! Contrasts are there all the time, the problem is to see them and to present them in an effective way... You do well here!
Nice composition in distinct layers, good colours and lots of details to explore!

Hi Pierre,
Nice contrast presented here between the old and new part of Paris, divided by the little forest. Two parts differ so much from each other that it feels almost like two cities stitched together.

Ton image est tr鋊 bien faite ! Les maisons du Paris "classique" mise en opposition avec le quartier des affaires evec ces tours et ces monuments grandiose, c'est superbement r嶧lis�. L'image penche l嶲廨ement mais c'est un d彋ail !

You chose a very well title for your splendid image! Excellent view about this part of Paris, very great contrast between the skyscrapers and the normally houses in foreground.

J'aime l'effet du t幨廩bjectif qui 嶰rase la perspective et qui donne en effet l'impression que les tours de La D嶨ense dominent les vieux immeubles parisiens. La compo est bien faite avec cette bande de verdure qui d幨imite les deux mondes.

Excellent le cadrage : les tours de la modernit� semble ecraser le Paris plus classique. Le piqu� est fort, quel contraste.

Certainly a striking contrast between old and new; the highrise towers seem so vast compared to the small huddling houses at their feet.

j'adore cette vue parce que tu l'a pris de cette tour effel et que c'est a l'oppose de la photo que tu as commente hier, a quelque jours pret on aurait pu se faire un coucou par teleobjectif interpose. superbe couleurs et lumiere.

Outragous, look at the size difference.
Great shot and forethought.
Just wondered if you could have included a little more of the right hand side to break up the sheer inpeding wall of modern architecture.
There again its just as good like this.
