Hi Vic,
after a long time I see one of your beautiful shots...
What a beautiful and peasant landscape with so warm colours.
Misty atmosphere and soft colours make a great mix.

Bonjour Vic,
j'aime beaucoup ces couleurs bien réchauffées et tendres à la fois, une scène enrobée de lumières un rien féérique dans laquelle ce cygne avec sa grâce, à bien sa place.
Excellent cdarge.
Bien à toi.
Daniel.

Hello Vic,
A stunningly beautiful pastoral scene that you have here. The soft warm misty light with the Sun peeking through the clouds is perfect for this photo. Capturing the swan was very fortuitous, and enhances this image even more. I wish that I would have has this kind of lighting when I visited Warrick Castle in 1992 and 2002. The swans were on the Avon River with the castle in the background but the weather on both trips was heavily overcast with rain and not even a hint of sunshine. Well done!

Hi Vic,
Your photo is fantastic. Very nice composition and beautiful colors. We see misty photos every day but it was so much time that I didn´t see one so beautiful. I add as one of my favourite. Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes,
Cristina.

Hello Vic,
This is an excellent image of the early morning hour. I would have liked to have seen this image maybe with a waming filter that may have brought out more reds and browns into the sea of green. Good capture...

Hi Vic,
Wonderful!! You show me another good reason to own a dog! ;-) Makes you get up early and walk with it in such a beautiful scenery. Well, perhaps leaving the dog at home is better, since there would not have been any swan in the picture hahaha.
I love the soft light, you can feel that it's a bit fresh but will warm up soon when looking at this picture. And, nothing wrong with the Nikon NX and CS2 being done here!
Nice one!! Dennis

A very nice tranquil and well put together shot Vic, the light is magnificent and the inclusion of the swan really adds.It is the sort of capture that shouts England .. A nice taster for Monday (St Georges Day)though I doubt many of the population will know this.Go on have a smiley.

A wonderfull and unusal light, which combined with the mist or fog in the background gives a very poetic atmosphere to this image (and the swan goes well with that too). Speaking of sharpness as you do in you introdution I think it is very good here, jsut the right sharpenss to revela the details without breaking the special atmosphere. Very nice !
All the best,
Emmanuel

My favorite time is early in the morning just like your photo. This has caught the feel of misty damp mornings with its freshness. The inclusion of the swan, well how lucky can you get almost a painting.

Great composition and wonderful subtle colours. The skylight filter has worked well, adding a gentle pink hue without spoiling the green of the fields. The swan is a nice touch which adds to the photo.
Cheers

Hi Vic,
I love this .. the greens .. the mist .. the sun .. the water .. the swan .. wow .. it is so beautiful .. I love your control of the sun and the amount of definition you have on that swan to make it not just fall into the texture ..
take care,
John

Great timing Vic, so bucolic, perfect light, being extra picky I wish the swan moved a foot to the left and somebody pruned off that tall reed.

Hi Vic. One of your very best shots, I think. The colors are very soft yet there's a wide range of tones in the very subdued morning light. Your viewpoint over the protruding reeds/grasses is well chosen, and the swan is well positioned in the sunlit part of the stream. This image makes me think immediately of The Wind in The Willows. Really, a new favourite, for sure.

Andrew

Le même paysage un quart d'heure plus tard et une photo différente quoique très proche de la précédente. Le soleil est encore voilé par la brume et le paysage d'une grande beauté.
