Hi Donald,
Ah - now thats a better view of Ardvreck, puts it in pole position, nicely balanced by the peak on the right. Good one. Thanks.
Dougie.

Aha, Donald,
Another fine shot from a country I would LOVE to visit. I like the way the castle ruins are clear in the foreground and the misty mountains off to the back. Looks like a beautiful day you shot this and the colors are lovely. Very nicely done!! Warm regards,
Shelly

Hi Donald,
It's amazing to see how this compo 'works' in a so different way of the other one; and I am not thinking only about the close-up.
Very inspired and inspiring. A great work indeed.

Hi Donald,
That's a dream weather that makes taking picture an enjoyment, your subject is nice and I like the dynamism of the foreground shore curve, I think you should have framed a bit more to the right to have it less close to the right border. I had prepared a WS to show you better what I mean, but I see you did not allow for WS on this picture...
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Donald,
We couldn't see this water in front of the castle with your previous post. I think this is the perfect scale for this image .. better than the previous or following .. It is interesting how the vivid spring greens and blues effect it .. I want to see it again .. at a sunrise .. and in a storm .. and in a house ..and with a mouse .. and in a box .. and with a fox ..
take care,
John

Hi Donald,
I love your intro but I can't just say 'that's nice' I have to give you a big smiley for this one. Your pov is great with the water breaking up the foreground and the mountains giving background interest but there's no doubt what's the focus of attention, the ruined catle is superb and perfectly placed in the frame, lovely natural colours and good detail. A fine capture, well done.
Regards
Stephen
Ps. Good to see you posting again Donald.
