yellooo..i went to ski.again.in Poiana Brasov ski resort..and this time i took my baby eos with me.i had a beautiful but veryyy cold day. but..who cares..i had a great time and the snow was perfect..:)

Wow... one of the most beautiful mid-day clear-sky winter photos I've ever seen. And wow again... you have the 17-40 too!!! Congratulations, Teo, you're quite well equipped. Man,... if you had the 40D :D
But even so, I can't overlook the blue shadows, when you insist with that "true blue" title. I tend to believe this is somewhat common, but I still don't like it. I see it as a white balance artifact and IMO this has to be corrected for. However, considering the outrageous PP effects that have become so common even here, on TE, where we were supposed to refrain from employing extravagant PP techniques, an effect obtained straight from the lens/sensor interaction, which actually makes the photo more enjoyable to look at, should probably be applauded.

Wonderful winter shot! The blue and white colour gives this a very cold impression, which is exactly what the conditions were like. That one person really is important to the shot, because he adds some scale and context to this. Well done!

Hmmm, snowboardul meu inca n-a atins zapada iarna asta. Imi faci pofta cand vad imaginea asta din Ruia. Imi place compozitia cu copacul in partea dreapta precum si culorile. Se pare ca acolo sus ai fost deasupra cetii care acopera orasul. Merci si Sarbatori Fericite!

And you can have it frozen too, which is another plus. the guy under the tree looks very cautious but the slope does not look so steep (I mean by swiss/french standards...).

Hello Teodora

U got me on this one, simple and beautiful white and blue composition, not blue only:) These are the winter colors that I love and enjoy with. The small human presence is very interesting, although minor, it does have big influence on the overall composition.

Merry Christmas, it's today for the Orthodox Christians like me:)
