Photographer's Note
This is another view of Fort Beach at Bahia when the searcher of TAMAR Project is unfasting little sea turtles at the beach near our hotel. Note the tattoo at the left arm with a design of a turtle.

Hi I would not say that I like it the way it is. The focus is far from being perfect. The subject of the picture should be the turtle and not the arm. A close up of the turtles in one hand and the tatoo would have done a better job I think.

A foto é simbólica, valeu a pena,sim!
Um grande abraço,
Nivaldo

i agree with rbellemare....the picture is out of focus...great idea, but even in journalistic snapshots in most situations focus is the must

Oi, Wagner.
Pena a imagem estar embaçada. Linda mensagem. Conceito sustentabilidade!
Rico.

Hello Wagner,
Wonderful decisive moment, compassion is nicely captured with these turtle hatchlings.
Yes it is out of focus.
If they are male mostly they may not visit the land again. Females are hunted and get caught in fishing nets while coming to shore to nest. Eggs laid and buried by the female once in 2 to 3 years in the shore are stolen by human and other predators. So, survival of each hatchling is so important. That compassion is captured nicely.
I wish all the very best for the TAMAR project and each one of the members.
I salute those hands who are determined to work for the survival of these living fossils.
Thanks for you Wagner for sharing such a wonderful decisive moment.
If possible may I know the species name?

Hello Wagner,
Before reading your note, I immediately thought that the tatoo was the perfect additional detail of your composition.
Now, these hands are impressive : undoubtedly fine but strong at the same time, maintained carefully.
Regards,
Marianne

Oi, Wagner.

Boa foto!
Parabéns e Abraço!
