Photographer's Note

I do not remember it clearly, but this was a merchant愀 house and was built in late 19th century. This house (as well as many others) stands in the Orava village open-air museum, nearby village of Zuberec in Western Tatras - Rohace.

Weather was marvelous that day - warm sun shining from azure sky, reflecting on tons of snow. The residues of snow were literally subliming from the heated up shingles (unfortunately I didn愒 find a way how to capture it, A95 doesn愒 have that long zoom).

It was a delight to sit on benches in front of houses, lean on sun-warmed walls and watch the beautiful surroundings. A moment I惻l remember for my whole life...

Image manipulation: since the best position to take a shot of this rooftop without other distracting objects was almost under the roof, I had to dramatically reconstruct perspective and then crop the result.
