You're the Colosseum,
You're the top!
You're the Louvre Museum,
You're a melody from
a symphony by Strauss,
You're a Bendel bonnet,
A Shakespeare sonnet,
You're Mickey Mouse!

These are words of a song by Cole Porter, that obviously do not have too much relation to the Capitol in Washington, except for the fact that this is the tallest building in Washington D.C.
Or this is what some people think, because a law in 1899 limited the height of the buildings in Washington to the one of the Capitol building (289 feet, 88 m.) This law was though amended in 1910 and currently this building is the fifth tallest structure in Washington. (source: Wikipedia)
