Intro: I'm 53 years of age and currently semi-retired. I picked up my first digital camera four years ago (02) and did my first macro shots with a Fuji S5000. I haven't been the same since that "bug" bit me. Through my continued involvement in this forum, I have learned a great deal and have developed an appreciation for nature that continues to grow.
I live with my wife Mary and our four dogs, Buddy a black laborador, and Daisy our chihuahua, with her two pups Rosie and Blue.
Our home is surrounded by 6 acres of Texas Hill Country in its natural state. I've found that it affords ample opportunity to photograph the flora & fauna here, with my first love, macro photography. I post primarily at Treknature.
