Intro: Hi, and thanks for stopping in to view my profile. I have been an amateur photographer since 1976, when I was 12. Back then, I had my own darkroom, did all of my own processing, etc. I think I still have the smell of stop bath burned into my sinuses!

As the years went by, my hobby fell by the wayside, but then in 2005, I had the opportunity to live and work in Iceland for a year, and took advantage of the country's incredible geology and natural beauty. I quickly retired my 2MP Nikon Coolpix and upgraded to a Canon DSLR, and took every opportunity to capture what I think are some special moments.

I have discovered that I'm more of a "places" photographer rather than a "people" one, so this website has been a great find for me.
