- I live in Wisconsin. I enjoy taking photos when I travel. I want to take pictures that will take me back to a place and time and maybe take others there as well. I also love taking photos of my nieces and nephews. They range in age from 6 to 30 and I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. I just switched my SLR camera to digital this past year. A trip to Europe where I was balancing the Elan and an Olympus digital point and shoot convinced me to move to the Rebel XTI. I'm always working on composition. I took a photography workshop on Skye and I always remember the comment, "You didn't need the thistle," and try to keep things simple and focused.
