Intro: Hi,
My name is Ruud van den Berg. I'm living in the western part of The Netherlands, close to the dunes and the sea. The interest for photography started when I was a little boy. I was infected by my uncle who produced the most beautiful pictures out of his darkroom. And until today I haven't lost this virus.
I have started with the more "classic" photography which means: black & white, developing and printing yourself.
In 1998 in our village we started a photo club where we dicuss pictures of the members and where we stimulate and learning each other the several aspects of photography.

Since 2004 I switched over to digital photography.
Nature and landscape photography are my most favourite subjects. I appreciate very much a site as TrekEarth because of the international mix of people sharing the same interests. And of course, you never too old to learn, so critiques are very welcome.
