Just another angle of the church near my house. Going there almost everyday makes composition the key to create "new" pictures.

Wow, do you already have such an amount of snow in your town? I wish it would be like this at our place... Very beautiful winter-picture. The covered gravestones, the ontouched snow and the long shadows are already very pretty elements in your photo. But the blue sky and the church make it even better! Very good exposure too. You managed to keep the details of the snow surface. Well done!

Composition is the key Terje and you do very well with this offering. The gravestones with their long shadows lead the eye toward the church steeple, the entire scene framed by the trees on either side. The colors and details are finely rendered and you had the good fortune of undisturbed snow, though I can't quite imagine anyone trudging through this snow on the way to church.

Having grown up in Minnesota surrounded by my Norwegian family, this photo is very evocative for me. That church could easily be the one my grandparents attended near their farm in the northern part of the state. The cemetary was across the road, but the feeling was very much the same as this. Many thanks for sharing this fine photo.

Hi Terje yet another nice view in white and blue, the unspoiled fresh snow looks great and the tombstones trace nice perspectives leading to the church.
