Photographer's Note

The highest point of the island of Capri is Monte Solaro. Here are several ancient Roman relics, including this statue overlooking the island and the view toward the Amalfi Coast on the mainland. I'm not sure who the statue is, but it is likely to be Emperor Tiberius, who spent the last years of his reign on the island, and had several villas built on Capri. His main palace was Villa Jovis, whose ruins can be seen on the high point of the island at lower left.

Capri has a great combination of ancient wonders, plush modern buildings and villas, and sensational views of stunning landscapes.

The Capri Island is a real "pearl"! I was fortunate to go up to the Mount Solaro and to see all the incredible views from there!
Your picture shows a lot of its beauty in a very nice way!
Sharpness, exposure, pov, yellow & black borders, horizontal & rectangular format, colors and composition are all excellent!
